I was trying to update some pages on my blog when Mambe Nanje shouted out to me “Uncle Che, Google has done it again big time”. I was too busy updating a few pages on my blog and at the same time chattng with Liany on Yahoo Messenger, and so I didn’t want to engage in a second conversation so i lazilly aksed “Churchill, what’s it this time around?”, “Chrome”, re replied “The new Google browser”.
Coincidentally, his was when Lainy was saying goodnight and after the :-h tag, i ran a serach on google with the term Google Browser.
I am always optimistic about Google, and if you ask me I will probably tell you they want to be part of anything related to web technology. They have done most of the things I expected them, but I was still waiting for a browser that will challenge he best browsers available nowadays. I haven’t tested Chrome… but I can sense a high degree of swecurity, speed, stability and a very appealing user interface.
Google Chrome builds on components from other open source software, including WebKit and Mozilla, and is aimed at improving stability, speed and security with a simple and efficient user interface.
I have never dreamt of anything better than Firefox, so i guess I am about to received a shock. I pray for that ![]()
After searching, I found a “comic book” that gave a tour of Chrome. I still don’t want to believe all those functions until I complete that book and test chrome for myself.
I can’t wait to try Chrome, but as usual, I will take my time to see if the switch from Firefox to Chrome is worth it. I am still in love with firefox.

@Lainy - Many people love Google and believe hey always go for the best. Let’s just wait for now.
If your PC is having about 128MB of RAM or more, I will recommend you try the latest version of Firefox. It is very fast.

I am not sure I can start using chrome now. I guess it must be full of many rough ends that must be smoothened by end users. I am not just in a mood to test things

I’m in love with Firefox too, but I slowly love Chrome. It’s fast and just fun to use, I don’t know why.
Firefox is nice and “complete”, but it’s kinda sluggish compared to Firefox.
By the way I had a post called 9 Things to hate and love about Chrome which you may want to have a look
It has 54 duggs and 86 yahoo buzzed at moment
