This is 100% illegal. Why then do I write about it? Just sharing a thought I had, and imagine how much money I can earn for it if I could build a plugin to automate the process.

However, at one point, I asked myself why people have not been doing it. Is it against the rules? I checked Adsense terms and Conditions and just as I expected, it is 100% against the rules.

This is just a “fantasy”. DO NOT TRY IT unless you want your Adsense account suspended and blocked.

Now, let’s get to business

People are more encouraged to click on links than using search boxes. I am using Adsense on my site and have an Adsense for search ad unit that permits me to put a search box on my site and earn revenue from search queries and resulting clicks. No one is using the search box. What do I do?

I try to trick my readers by “converting the search box to clickable links” scattered all over my site so that readers can easily find them, click on them to perform searches and click on ads on the result pages.

I realize that when a search is preformed through the standard search box, the following url appears on my address bar

where

0000000000000000 = Adsense publisher ID
AAA = search term one
BBB = search term two
CCC = search term three
ISO-8859-1 = I am not quite sure but I guess it is the unique id of my search unit

Now, let’s say you want to link the word University of Buea to the google search result of university of buea. Here is the link to use

Remember you must change the publisher id and ad unit id to yours.
