Rich Information Vaults – Article Directories

No one who directly or indirectly relies on the World Wide Web for one thing or the other, e.g. advertising, publishing, writing content for cash, etc, can come across the two-word phrase “search engines” and pass by without giving a deep thought or throwing a second look. Everything on the World Wide Web revolves around search engines. Everyone who publishes information wants to be indexed by, and found through search engines. This has pushed people to go as far as trying to optimize their websites for search engine so as to improve on their ranking and possibility of easily being found.

I am a fan of article directories because the good ones are priceless vaults of information. Whenever I visit an article directory, take one category I can’t fail to check out is the search engines category. Under this category in the www.web-articles.info article directory features very interesting articles related to search engine optimization, search engine submission, Google and Google Page Rank, getting a site online, Google Search, Adsense, Adwords, advertising, web hosting and domain names.

Still on this article directory, I found a certain article that discusses the issue of Finding a domain name for your client. This is very useful information for newbie webmasters like me. Most clients come up with a site but know nothing about domain names, thereby allowing me to shoulder the responsibility of searching for the best one possible for their site.

Not every article has to be high tech or on some very serious/intense topic. Some, such as the most recent I found on the homepage, Dutch fishing village called Volendam, is more of leisure and personal experience. This is the type of article I refer to as freeform.

Contributing articles to article directories is equally as important as reading and collecting information from them. Come to think of this; your ideas and opinions get read by hundreds of people plus you get a backlink and lots of traffic. Try it!
