Just about a month ago, I never really understood what tags, memes and awards meant in the Blogosphere. I considered them to be just some schemes to share links and play around with Technoratti Authorities, Google Page Rank and Alexa Traffic Ranks. No! I don’t think anymore about them as being of that nature. It is true that through tags, memes and wards, we get to share links and traffic, but wait a minute! What about social networking? About all those new friends we make and those old friendships we rekindle? Doesn’t that mean the whole Blogosphere to you? To me, it does. I started right here on AZ Blogging when I receive a Blogging Friends Forever (BFF) Award from Vidhya. It was lots of fun and I took it very serious. I didn’t hesitate to pass it on as the instructions asked me to.
Here is another one. This time around, it is a tag that Reya and Shawie passed on to Lainy, and she is in turn passing it on to Twerlyn, Lynn and Uncle Che. Yeah, you got it right. That was my name. I got the tag too. Hoooray! I am very happy.
What is the name of the tag? 7 Facts About Me. Before I continue with the procedure, I will be happy if you read a post on my personal blog that gives an insight about facts.
Here are the rules of the tag from Lainy
- List these rules on your blog.
- Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.
- Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
1 - WORK: The only thing that limits my ability to work is the availability of work. My father used to work very hard and I believe I inherited that from him.
2 - EDUCATION: An average student with the a very high potential of top 5, but lagging behind due to too much responsibility and other factors beyond control, I struggle very hard just to meet top 10.
3 - FRIENDSHIP: I don’t need their approval. Once I see them, they are automatically my friends and I can do everything within my reach to create an impact, unless they really don’t want me.
4 - RELATIONSHIPS: Only two dates in 28 years. First, seduced at the age of 19. Second time, fell in love at the age of 24 (and still keeping that one till now).
5 - WWW: Never knew what an email address is, till 2003. Don’t blame me. Blame the society that raised me. I was not opened up to computers but developed too much interest and learned very fast.
6 - FITNESS: Very poor feeding habits and little or no sports but still keeping fit. Miracle?
7 - DREAMS: Wildest of all every possibly imagined. Yearning for more than I can ever get or need, while planning to use it for the less privileged.
I hope I didn’t brag a lot. My Fiancee (Noela) is very honest and objective. If you ask her, she will make an honest review of this.
Now, the hard part, tagging 7 people out of possibly 700. What should I do? Close my eyes and pick them up randomly from my blogroll? No, I got a better idea, but won’t release the secret.

Disclaimer: The above is alphabetically listed and does not have anything to do with importance, popularity…etc. Uncle Che never discriminates. They are all my friends and if i have 70 stars to share amongst the 7 of them, each will receive just 10.
Again, these are the rules
- List these rules on your blog.
- Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.
- Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
I will be very happy if you pass on this tag. Let’s make the Blogosphere a better place.

IT’s great to know some important facts about you, Uncle Che. Thanks for never hesitating to share yourself to the world. I love doing memes of this kind because it gives us the opportunity to learn new things about our online friends. I didn’t paid much attention to the instruction though, I should have tagged 7 people, and not only 3, hehe!
Anyway, knowing you up close and personal is just awesome! You haven’t been bragging. You created a long lasting impression to a lot of people and I just know you are one special guy. You and Noela are both lucky to have each other.
