Now I will have to keep in mind the Nike commercial “JUST DO IT!”

As always, I salute you for coming up with this beautiful article, Uncle Che. WHo says you are busy and is having internet connection problems? Hehe!

This post prevents us from suffering writer’s block. But in my case, I wasn’t born a “writer” so I will have to work doubly hard in honing this one skill that I do not have. I always try to write from the heart though because as what you have mentioned, it’s not all brains that matters.

I have noticed that successful writers are those who always unleash their writing prowess by virtue of too much passion, which is made evident in their respective articles. I can tell when an article is written with too much heart and huge sincerity. And this includes your blog ;-)

@Lainy - I have been in several situations when I want to write and nothing is coming forth. It has happened with me even when I have several topics to choose just one and write on for that day. I finally concluded that it has more to do than just being inspired. After some research, I learned about the term Writer’s Block :D I just took that opportunity to relate it to the writer in me, bring out his weak points and present here.

I hope this will help some bloggers out there too, especially the very “young” noobs.

btw - About the connection, I must admit it is getting better. I couldn’t believe it allowed me drop up to 300 for Noela yesterday :D I hope as soon as possible, the speed will allow me drop 900 as you. One for 300 for AZ, 300 for Noela and 300 for EC 4 R :)

It is difficult to believe how easy writing can get at times. I bet less than 5% of bloggers ever really cared to read some notes about writing or to take a short course. Yet, everywhere on the blogosphere one can see great posts.

There are writing rules and principles that one even follows without being taught. At times, everything originates from passion and flows through the heart.

Thanks. I gladly accept it.

I am always looking for opportunities to get myself really tangled up in the blogosphere. At times, they are hard to come by.

I have new posting on blog contest

uncleche (23 comments.) said in September 11th, 2008 at 1:52 am

Eh! I read it.
That was a very sharp one.
I dropped my opinion.
I am still having lots of problems with connection. For the moment, I can only pay for an hour a day to use public computers to check my mails. When my connection will finally be restored, we can proceed as planned. I miss posting!

I just write even when I am not blogging. Ray Bradbury said that the first 1000 words he wrote each day was crap. He would write that much not worrying about the result and being prepared to ball it up and throw it away. Then he was ready to write.

uncleche (23 comments.) said in September 11th, 2008 at 5:03 pm

@Stephan Miller - Thanks very much for that tip. If the first 1000 words are crap and you end up having 200 good ones, then u made it:)

Excellent tips for a topic that is near and dear to all bloggers and writers (same thing?). I find the best thing for me is to keep distractions to a minimum–I’m talking about life distractions as well as the others: noise, etc.
And then read all of your great tips again…

peace,
mike
